LIFE AFTER SPORTS
The “Life After Sports Program” is an educational based program of Clubhouse Private Wealth and the brainchild of Nandy Serrano, a former athlete.
With the passion for Sports, Advanced Education, Business, and the willingness to connect and help people – “L.A.S.” was created and designed as a platform to both retired and current athletes that will provide them with the proper resources, tools, and education to help the athlete transition from Sports to Real Life. This program gives the athlete their life back into the very same community that has supported them, whether it will be as an everyday citizen or as an entrepreneur.
With the negative publicity surrounding athletes, whether it is a divorce or bankruptcy, the program allows for the athlete to be as prepared as possible as they complete their playing career in order to make the transition a better, more positive experience.
This program was designed to provide a setting where professional and amateur athletes can meet and learn from a unique team of professionals on our “Life After Sports Program.” It consists of retired, active athletes, current athletes and successful, business entrepreneurs who provide education and mentorship that will help the athlete transition from the playing field to the community and business world – the Real Life. They will help provide advice from their own life experiences to those athletes who choose to transition into the Real Life.
One feature of “Life After Sports” is the ability for professional athletes to learn from our advisors at various businesses. This allows them to better prepare for life in early retirement helping them to develop the skills necessary to succeed in today’s business world. Along with the education, mentorships provide the information on the fundamentals of the financial markets, budgeting, corporate structure, franchising, private equity, foundations structure and strategies plus other topics to help the athlete develop the language and understanding of Real Life, philanthropy, business and finance.
Family Planning is an important part of our program. Many athletes suffer pressure from family, friends, and associates who are seeking financial assistance or an investment opportunity. Together with behavioral finance experts we can assist with these complex emotional issues.
Lastly, we focus on plans that transfer wealth to the next generation. Our goal is to ensure that a legacy is left for children or your loved ones, while making sure that the basic needs like education costs can be met. End result, we want you to have fun!
