Willian Jose Martinez Torrealba was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He has loved and played baseball since his youth. He made his Major League debut in 2000 after signing as a pitcher with the Cleveland Indians. He would also play with the Minnesota Twins and the Cincinnati Reds during his 12 year professional career. This was also mixed with winter baseball sintints with Caribes de Oriente and Tiburones de la Guaira. After Retirement as a player he would serve as a pitching supervisor for the Atlanta Braves between 2008 and 2015 as well as aiding in the development of new players with the GCL Rookie Ball Program. Since his total retirement from Baseball Willie has worked in the financial services industry helping spanish speaking professional players to strengthen and push their futures forward far beyond the influence of their professional baseball careers.
